Uploading a Signature to SmartICVI

Brian Naujoks -

In order to electronically sign CVIs in SmartICVI, you must add your signature to your profile. This article will show you how to do that.

Note that you will only be able to perform these steps if you are assigned a role in SmartICVI that signs documents. If you cannot perform these steps and feel that you need to sign ICVIs, reach out to your account administrator.

Click the blue button with your name in it, which is located in the top-right corner of the SmartICVI screen.

Select the Profile option from the menu.

Scroll to the bottom of the profile page.

Add your signature. This can be done in one of two ways.

Sign in the Tool

The first option is to sign directly in SmartICVI. To do this, use your mouse (or your finger if you are using a device with a touchscreen) to draw your signature in the white area shown below. Click the green Sign button when you are satisfied with the signature.

Upload a Signature Picture

The second option is to upload a picture file (jpeg, jpg, or png) of your signature. To do this, click the Upload Signature button, then navigate to the location on your PC where the picture file is stored.

Alternatively, you can click and drag the picture file into the white box.
