Creating a VFD or Prescription with the Mobile App

Once you've downloaded the innately mobile app, you can use it to quickly create VFDs or Prescriptions (records) on your mobile device. 

Once you've logged in, you will see your Workspace. This is where you can see any of the records you've created on your mobile device. 

Note: The mobile app will only show records that you created on that particular device. It does not see any records you've created in the web app. 

Also, the web app will not see any records you've created in the mobile app until you upload them. 

To start a new VFD or Prescription, simply tap the plus (+ ) button in the top-right corner of the Workspace. 

Tap the "Workflow" field, select the type of record you want to create, then click the "Done" link. 

Give your record a name by tapping in the "Case Name" field and using your device's keyboard to type a name. Finally, click the blue "Create Case" button to create your record. 

This will create your record and add it to your Workspace. Tap it to begin editing it. 

From here, simply create the case as you would if you were logged into the web app. You'll fill out all the same information. You can navigate between steps using the left and right arrow buttons located at the bottom of each screen. Alternatively, you can switch between steps by tapping the "Steps" button, which is located in the top-left corner of the screen (it looks like three horizontal lines stacked on each other).


Once you've finished your record, tap the "Steps" button in the top-left corner of the screen, then tap the "Workspace" button to return to your Workspace.

Your record is now saved in the mobile app. You can come back later to edit it (simply tap it to begin editing!) or upload it to the web portal (You can see the article about uploading your records here).
